ABOUT EMILY NASH

I am an open-minded, hardworking, adaptable third-year student at the University of Florida pursuing a dual degree in Political Science and Economics with a minor in Business Administration. Being a first-generation Hispanic woman of two Colombian parents has made me an independent individual with openness to diverse perspectives. As a third-year student, I have been able to explore a plethora of potential career path including various types of banking, marketing and consulting. Through my course work I found an interest in policy and government aspects within business. Throughout my college experience I have been very involved within different organization including DSP a professional business fraternity where I have been able to expand and grow my network while making lifelong friends. I have also been part of REM who does pro-bono consulting for business around the local Gainesville area. Both these organizations and other summit experiences with companies such as Bain & Company and Goldman Sachs have sparked my interesting in pursuing a career in management consulting where I hope to help businesses and entrepreneurs achieve their dreams. I enjoy a fast paced dynamic workplace which is why I have found a passion in consulting and the corporate world. I aspire to find a career and full-time occupation that I wake up excited about every morning. I currently looking for an internship that combines my experience in business with government aspects but am open to other opportunities within the corporate sector in consulting or banking.
