About Emmy Briggs

I know well that we’re going to die someday, so I won’t waste time making work that takes that for granted. At the apex of ephemeral and permanent, my work seeks urgency, connection, and making sense of the human experience through media and gathering. I launched my career in Brooklyn’s DIY scene, building community and founding the genre-defying art collective I Don’t Wanna See That! I developed radical creativity and learned how to create something out of nothing. I use these same skills as my foundation to serve global brands such as Google, YouTube and Adidas in their campaigns, events and activations. I earned an MFA in Theatre Directing from Birkbeck, University of London and served as a resident and assistant director at institutions such as Guildhall School of Music and Drama, The Mercury Theatre and Mischief Theatre Company (The Play That Goes Wrong). I believe a fleeting moment can be captured to ripple through audiences far away and everlasting. As a producer, I helped Grammy-Award winning country star Chris Stapleton in capturing his live experience in his forthcoming documentary. I also brought artists like Madison Cunningham, Kevin Devine, Mehro and Grandaddy together for a concert dedicated to Elliott Smith. All My Rowdy Friends boasted a sold out audience in LA, and met the masses via livestream.

As the founding events function at Espresso AI, I lead the strategy and execution of field marketing programs designed to drive pipeline and bring new customers into our world.Working closely with a tight-knit marketing leadership team, I own the full event lifecycle — from intimate executive dinners and customer happy hours to conference presence and large-scale activations. I manage vendors, produce event graphics, and oversee every logistical detail to ensure each touchpoint sparks genuine excitement and converts that energy into lasting relationships.Sitting between creative, logistics and strategy is exactly where I thrive. I bring to this role years of experience producing high-impact live experiences for global brands and world-class artists, and the same instinct for connection, detail, and momentum now drives how I build Espresso AI\'s presence in the market.
