My practice focuses on estate planning for extraordinarily high net worth individuals (both in Texas and beyond) and the representation of fiduciaries and beneficiaries in estate and trust administration. The main focus of my practice is designing and implementing advanced asset transfer strategies to minimize federal gift and estate taxes and strategies to facilitate the transition of ownership of closely held family businesses or legacy properties from one generation to the next. I also have advised clients in divorce cases (along with their divorce counsel) where substantial trusts or family assets were involved. I mostly focus on the preparation of wills and trusts, lifetime transfers of assets, and restructuring family owned businesses.
