ABOUT EMMETT MULLALLY

Firstly, if you are taking the time to read this, then please do connect with me as I am always looking to extend my network and make new connections. I am an experienced leader in the charity/not-for-profit sector. I held a variety of roles in Ulster University Students\' Union with over 14 years as General Manager leading on organisational strategy, performance and impact. I am a firm believer in supporting and developing staff so they can both enjoy their work and achieve real change and results. In particular I have become very interested in coaching as a tool to help organisations and staff achieve their goals. In August 2017 I took a 3 year career break and moved to Geneva, Switzerland in support of my wife\'s career. In between becoming a full-time personal assistant, chauffeur, cook, sports parent, sock-pairer etc. for our 2 children, I also managed to complete my ILM Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring as well as volunteering for ESCA Cancer Support and the Impact Hub Geneva. We returned to Belfast in August 2020 after a fantastic experience for us all. Having initially worked as an interim executive on my return, I am now the Director of Social Enterprise and Operations at Stepping Stones NI, an award winning charity that provides a range of services and social enterprises that supports people with a learning disability or learning difficulty to gain meaningful training and employment.
