ABOUT EMMETT LARSEN
I am a researcher in the area of psychosis, working under the mentorship of Guillermo Horga in the Psychiatry department at CUMC/NYSPI. My work has a particular focus on delusions, and my dissertation examined the cognitive and affective mechanisms that may underlie these symptoms using methods such as computational modeling. I completed my PhD in clinical psychology at Stony Brook University in 2024 and am in the process of pursuing licensure as a clinical psychologist.
