Right now, I\'m really enjoying my time as a back-end software engineer at Yum! Brands, where I get to work on their e-commerce technology through Byte by Yum. A significant portion of restaurant business happens online, with over half of all sales now being digital. It\'s so cool to impact so many customers every day! I\'m growing as an engineer, and hope to be helpful to newer engineers now that I know the ropes a bit better. Byte has a strong startup-type culture, so I\'m not insulated from our other products or the business impact of the work I do, which is so fun.I\'m always curious about AI safety and down to talk about how that looks in our modern world. I also love birds, hiking, and playing my guitars!
