Provide care for patients with moderate or potentially severe physiologic instability requiring frequent nursing assessment and intervention every 1-2 hours for the majority of the shift. Common patient populations include post-op kidney/pancreas transplants, respiratory failure, sepsis, liver failure, and cardiac complications. Assess, plan, deliver, evaluate, and documentation of care for all assigned patient populations. Coordinate patient care with the healthcare team and delegated responsibilities to others as appropriate. Document data related to patients\' care, including focused assessments, interventions, medications, patient responses, and treatment changes.Care for patients requiring cardiac monitoring, central lines, LVADs, and cardiac drips.
