As a Trustee at Orbis Education Trust, I lead on staffing and enrichment, helping to ensure that our schools create environments where both staff and students can thrive.My work is driven by a core belief: when staff feel supported, motivated, and well-managed, they deliver the best possible outcomes for students and their families.I champion the development of strong, capable line managers because we know that a good manager makes the biggest difference to how someone feels about work, especially in education. From recruitment to retention, enrichment to CPD, I work with the Trust to shape strategies that put people first while staying aligned to performance goals and safeguarding responsibilities.It’s a privilege to support a team that is so committed to both student success and staff wellbeing and to help build a culture where excellent education starts with empowered people.
