I moved into the internal sales role in a more formal capacity in March 2022, this role encompasses all customer orders from the UK and Europe whilst continuing to oversee the intercompany sales position. This role continued to involve quotations, however with a larger focus on placing varied customer orders, monitoring these, and keeping the customer informed of their order status and the whole process from purchasing to delivery, chasing suppliers where needed to try and get the best outcome for customers. The role involves processing and reporting (through various systems including Navision and Microsoft products) and high levels of customer service, initiative, and compliance to ensure that orders are consistently monitored, and that systems reflect the most up to date information available from suppliers. Additionally, this role involves freight and logistics in a larger capacity getting quotes from multiple sources for both air and sea freight to get the most competitive rates for customers which is particularly challenging post global pandemic. This role is highly complex with many facets and involves a high level of initiative, attention to detail and organisation.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
