ABOUT EMMA WIECK

Currently holding a position with Arevon, one of North America\'s leading renewable energy companies. Working on the origination team as an origination analyst helping efforts to originate, structure, and negotiate utility-scale energy offtake contracts. Additionally researching and reporting on, utilities’ energy procurement activities, Integrated Resource Plans, and strategizing on development opportunities in wholesale competitive markets and regulated power markets across the United States. Completed a masters degree at Thunderbird School of Global Management. The #1 ranked masters in management program world wide located in Phoenix, Arizona. The unique program is widely considered to be the equivalent of a Master of Business Administration. Learning the fundamentals of global business practices, cross cultural communication, economic knowledge, corporate social responsibility and leadership. In January through March of 2022 participated as an international consultant for Signify. Traveled abroad to Mexico City to develop an in depth go-to-market strategy for Signify, a global leader in lighting. Worked as a 20••••21 History Department Research Experience recipient. This project entailed an in depth analysis of United States borderlands. The position further cultivated a detailed understanding of applicable research skills. Served as an intern for the Arizona Corporation Commission\'s Utilities department. Engaged in real world policy research and composition.
