ABOUT EMMA SANTIZO

I am a 3L at the University of North Carolina School of Law, primarily interested in civil litigation. I graduated summa cum laude with degrees in English and Psychology from Stony Brook University in 2022. At Carolina Law, I am a Comments Editor on Volume 104 of the North Carolina Law Review, which allows me to refine my writing and editing skills. Additionally, I am growing as a team member and leader through my position as the 3L class coordinator for the UNC Pro Bono Program. In this role, I serve as the point of contact for the entire 3L class, helping to connect them with a wide range of projects that meet their unique interests. Finally, in my capacity as a Dean\'s Fellow I serve as a mentor for 1L students, helping to make the transition to law school as smooth as possible and fostering a collaborative and supportive environment at Carolina Law.
