ABOUT EMMA HARDY
I am a qualified solicitor (non-practising) with over 20 years’ professional experience in the legal industry. My journey began in the City of London as a trainee, NQ and junior associate in equity and debt finance in a Magic Circle firm. I then did a stint in the public sector, as a lawyer in the Government Legal Department, working on immigration judicial review and employment litigation cases. Part of my role in the GLD was as a Knowledge Management Champion, and I dove deeper into KM and PSL work as I moved to a legal content editor role at FromCounsel, an online legal resource platform.Working for a legal tech start-up fed my enthusiasm for development and innovation in the legal word. During a period of huge change for the legal profession, I held the position of Academic Director for the SQE at Kaplan as the new SQE exam was introduced, which all aspiring solicitors in England and Wales are required to pass before qualification. My current role is Course Development Director at Kinch Robinson, developing outstanding and engaging e-learning, designed specifically for lawyers.Every personality test I have ever done has concluded that I am a people person, and that building relationships is what I like to do. Feel free therefore to indulge me and connect, whether we have a shared background, interest, or the potential to simply have a chat.
