ABOUT EMMA PAJAK
A highly motivated PhD candidate in the OptiML Group in the Sargent Centre for Process Systems Engineering at Imperial College London. Research focusing on applying optimization and machine learning to supply chains funded by, and working in collaboration with, BASF. Recent highlights:• I got involved with LGBTQ+ History Month 2022 – namely, I had my profile featured as part of the Imperial People campaign and gave a talk about my experience as a member of the community at my department’s celebratory event.• I had the pleasure of orchestrating and hosting Imperial’s Chemical Engineering Department’s 46th Annual Newitt Lecture. • Co-authored a wellbeing-focused book for Chemical Engineering freshers at Imperial which has successfully been printed and gifted to over 300 students.
