ABOUT EMMANUEL YOQUE
Emmanuel Yoque is a singer and mission-driven arts administrator, a recent graduate of the USC Thornton School of Music. Born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, Yoque has developed a passion for advocating for students in low-income communities and increasing equity and accessibility in music and arts education. Yoque currently serves as the Arts Fellow for Los Angeles County Second District Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell where his research is aimed to increase accessibility and equity to artistic and cultural experiences for underserved communities. His work is rooted in a deep commitment to breaking down barriers for underrepresented communities and fostering an inclusive and dynamic environment for all.Yoque\'s arts administration carrer began as the Learning Programs Associate at LA Opera Connects—LA Opera’s Community Engagement and Education Department—where he helped implement high-impact education initiatives. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, Yoque utilizes his language skills to engage an array of communities, ensuring that cultural accessibility is at the heart of his educational programs.
