What I love about paragliding is that you have to be prepared…for the unknown! Every flight is unique. And every time you get out there, you have to observe a multitude of subtle signs, from the shape of a cloud or the flight of a bird to trees or a plume of smoke blowing in the wind. Only then can you decide on a strategy. Once you take off, however, you have to be ready to make adjustments, because nothing ever goes as planned! This is exactly what I like to experience at work, too. I am passionate about building teams, nurturing great ideas, and turning those ideas into something everyone can be proud of.To get the job done, I observe my environment very carefully and stay attuned to how a particular situation makes me feel. I am also good at gathering and organizing information and extracting what is relevant. I also feel that it is crucial to give meaning to each task and get people working together toward a common goal.In today’s increasingly complex world, I feel strongly that you have to know where you are headed and be agile enough to adapt to change along the way.
