ABOUT EMMANUEL AMODU
I formerly led the engineering team at bundle where I was responsible for strategic decisions around aligning the overall business goals with the engineering KPIs. I was also responsible for continuous optimization of the engineering (i.e. QA, CICD, hiring.) processes. I was a Software Engineering Manager at Patricia leading a team of about 35 engineers across multiple products. Before joining Patricia, I worked at Pluto TV as a Senior Software Engineer. Working on technologies like ffmpeg, AWS and Node.js. I also led an engineering team at Huawei, focusing on integrating third-party devices and APIs. I served as a Solution Architect, and my role, although hands-on, involved meeting C level executives to gather their requirements. When I am not working, playing chess or taking some course on machine learning, I organise tech trainings, seminars and mentorships to help local young people gain engineering knowledge and the skills needed to land jobs as software engineers.
