ABOUT EMMA GRACE MANCINI

As a dedicated higher education professional, I am passionate about fostering student success and well-being. I hold a Bachelor\'s degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Political Science from Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia. During my time at Longwood, I developed valuable skills in media production and interpersonal communication, which have been instrumental in my personal and professional growth.I recently completed my Master\'s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Missouri State University. My graduate studies, combined with my extensive hands-on experience, have equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the student affairs landscape. My roles as the Leadership Development Graduate Assistant in the Office of Student Engagement and as a NODA Orientation Intern at the University of Alabama at Birmingham have been particularly influential, providing me with valuable insights and practical skills.I have also had the privilege of interning with the Longwood Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life for two years, where I contributed to the development and support of student organizations. Additionally, my involvement with the College Panhellenic Council as a governing body member for nine campus sororities has further enriched my understanding of student leadership and community building.Now, as I embark on this exciting new chapter of my career at Georgia Southern University, my ultimate goal is to utilize the diverse skills and experiences I have gained to support and empower students. I am committed to making a positive impact in the higher education field, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive both academically and personally.
