ABOUT EMMA DARBY
Having started my career with Stonegate Pub Company in March 2017, I am currently working as a HRBP supporting our Head Office teams. My previous work experience is predominantly in the hospitality industry, with a focus on hotels, restaurants and pubs. I spent five years working for Old English Inns, a Greene King managed brand under their Destination Division, and progressed in my initial career to an Assistant Hotel Manager. Whilst studying at university, I was a supervisor at The Globe, a pub and restaurant under the Ever So Sensible Restaurant group. Having studied BA(Hons) Business and Management at De Montfort University, I then went on to work in recruitment for 18 months, before moving into a more generalist HR role with Stonegate in order to expand my knowledge within the function.
