About Emmanuel Kurinaah

I am a Computer Engineering student at the University of Hartford, graduating in May 2025. I love building workflows that solve real-world problems, whether with code, hardware, or a mix of both. Over the past years, I\'ve gained experience in software development, embedded systems, AI, and Machine Learning. Some projects I have worked on include:* An automated parking lot monitoring system using OpenCV, YOLOv5, and a Raspberry Pi 5 to track which spots are full or empty.* A radar-based speed checker to help improve safety on campus.* Creating web applications using React, MongoDB, and Python to make systems faster and more user-friendly. I’ve also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Webster Bank, where I helped build tools to automate parts of the loan process. Outside of tech, I lead and support others. I’m the President of the National Society of Black Engineers at my school, and I help run public speaking workshops as a Toastmasters club officer. I enjoy working with others, learning new things, and taking on challenges that help me grow.
