ABOUT EMMA K.

I am a recent graduate of the Marlboro Institute for Liberal Arts & Interdisciplinary Studies at Emerson College, holding a degree in Environmental Health (Environmental Studies and Public Health). For my Senior Capstone, I conducted in-depth research on the expanding field of Ecotherapy (applied ecopsychology) and wrote an analytic essay on its efficacy. I then created a comprehensive, Patient-Facing Guide to Hip Dysplasia, synthesizing clinical research from leading specialists worldwide into an accessible format. This guide was further enriched by patient-led discussions and ecotherapeutic strategies derived from my research. As an interdisciplinary learner, my passions align with environmental stewardship, human ecology, psychology, and fostering meaningful relationships with ourselves, our communities, and the natural environment. I am also deeply interested in education, environmental, and sustainable development, and I seek opportunities in these fields on an international scale. I am a highly motivated and inquisitive individual who thrives in outdoor settings and enjoys collaborating with close-knit communities.
