ABOUT EMMA KANG

Emma Kang is a multidisciplinary creative and real estate professional currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design at the New York School of Interior Design. With a foundation in public relations from Loyola Marymount University and a background in high-end real estate, Emma brings a unique blend of design sensibility, spatial strategy, and client-centered thinking to every project. Before relocating to New York City in September 2024 to deepen her expertise in interior design, Emma spent several years in Los Angeles as a Global Real Estate Advisor at Sotheby’s International Realty. There, she guided clients through home staging, spatial planning, and high-impact marketing—helping elevate both the aesthetic and market value of luxury properties. Her work was distinguished by a thoughtful approach to design, seamless client service, and a strong grasp of market trends. Fluent in Japanese and conversational in Korean and a global upbringing, Emma brings a multicultural perspective and strong cross-cultural communication skills to her work. She is proficient in industry-standard design software including AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, and is equally fluent in digital marketing and social media strategy. Currently based in New York, Emma is excited to bring her diverse background and design training to roles that blend aesthetics, storytelling and functionality.
