Founding member of the Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps’ Strategic Talent Management group responsible for developing, tracking, and executing strategic talent management initiatives. • Developed, oversaw, and contributed to multiple service-level studies relating to strategic talent management. • Oversaw internal audit of diversity, equity, and inclusion training for the Marine Corps in order to recommend and implement additional training/ education. Reviewed relevant curriculum to include storyboards and coordinated with vendors to develop content turning concept into reality. • Oversaw study on gender integration efforts at boot camp, the results of which were reported to Congress and used to inform executive-level decision-making. • Member of the operational planning team charged with implementing Women, Peace, and Security initiatives across the service—interfacing with agencies across the federal government and with federal government consultants/ contactors. • Led multiple projects using Lean Six Sigma, including efforts to better staff research proposals and to streamline reporting chains. • Assisted in developing the organization’s Campaign Plan and managing external audits. • Monitored and analyzed the integration of female Marines as they joined previously all-male units and occupational specialties. • Contributed to the first report to Congress on the topic and briefed the Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services.
