About Emma Fouts

Hi! At my core, I enjoy creating experiences that help people feel supported, connected, and empowered. I spent a decade in early childhood education, where I built strong skills in communication, organization, and understanding what people truly need. Now I’m expanding into UX/UI design, where I can bring my creativity, empathy, and curiosity to new challenges. I’m passionate about designing experiences that are clear, welcoming, and a little delightful too. I love working on projects that make life easier or more enjoyable for others. Along the way, I bring a positive spirit, a collaborative mindset, and conversational German to the mix (because when isn\'t it fun to throw in a German word here or there!). I’m always excited to keep learning, connecting, and helping create thoughtful design solutions!

   Designed and implemented age-appropriate, inquiry-based curriculum for the 1’s program, integrating Reggio Emilia principles with Jewish values to support social-emotional and cognitive development.Created weekly classroom newsletters using Canva to communicate curriculum themes, learning goals, and classroom highlights with families.Led classroom environments that fostered creativity, empathy, and exploration through hands-on, play-centered learning.Served as Interim Director with responsibility for end-of-day school operations, while continuing to support curriculum strategy as Lead Teacher.Currently provide support as a substitute teacher, ensuring consistency in learning experiences across all age groups.
