In this role I dress as Disney princesses and superheroes and attend children’s parties. I travel to multiple locations across Cornwall to make children’s dreams come true. At all parties I have a timetable to follow, however there are times I must be adaptable incase the children are not enjoying this activity to the full potential. The activities I complete with the children consist of singing, dancing, parachute games, biscuit decorating, arts and crafts, glitter tattoos just to name a few. In this role it important that I have strong behaviour management, as I work with children aged 3-15 in groups of 5-30+. In this role, it is imperative I can work alone but also as a team as there are some parties and events we must team up in. It is important to be confident and be able to speak in crowds as we do this at our events. Customer service is also an important skill in this role as I speak with parents, businesses when attending and planning events.
