About Emma Chapin
My name is Emma Broos and I am a recent graduate of the University of Georgia Terry School of Business. I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a minor in Anthropology in May 2020.In my studies I have acquired a breadth of knowledge and skills in subjects including wealth management, corporate finance, investment management, sustainable economics, global economics, statistics, commercial banking, global asset management and sustainable investing. From these classes I am highly proficient in Microsoft Office.Along with my academic experience, I have gained insight and experience into the finance industry through my internships. While completing my internships, I strived to learn beyond my assignments and took advantage of various opportunities in order to add value to my team. Through my experience analyzing annuity and retirement plans and new growth areas for RBC, I further developed my communication and presentation skills in addition to my ability to create effective financial, reconciliation and asset class implementation reports and book of business reviews.On campus, I held leadership roles as the Assistant Vice President of Finance for the sorority Delta Delta Delta in addition to serving as Greek Liaison for the local food bank and non-profit organization Food to Kids. Through these organizations, I have been able to leverage my creativity to expand service opportunities and have developed effective leadership and communication skills. In addition to Delta Delta Delta and Food to Kids, I am an active member of the Gamma chapter of the Pi Sigma Epsilon business fraternity and marketing committee member of Women in Finance where I present and conduct valuation models that allow me to further enhance my attention to detail, analytical knowledge, presentation skills, and financial background.
