Since setting up my own accountancy practice, I have built up a varied portfolio of clients whom require advice and assistance with maintaining their accounts which includes, but is not limited to, updating the accounting software (Sage, Quickbooks, Xero, FreeAgent), the preparation and analysis of monthly or quarterly management accounts, preparation of budgets and cash flow forecasts, quarterly VAT returns and preparation of year end financial statements for filing at Companies House or with the Charities Commission, as appropriate. We work closely with the Directors of each business to ensure that the information we provide is meeting their needs to understand and grow their business. We are therefore capable of delivering information at board level as well as maintaining excellent accounting records. In addition to this accountancy work, we have a dedicated payroll manager who prepares payroll for our clients on a monthly basis, we complete personal tax returns for Directors and self employed individuals and provide business advice to the Company and the individual on a variety of issues.

As a qualified Chartered Accountant I run a successful accountancy practice working with a variety of clients on an ad hoc or regular basis. This includes, but is not limited to, day to day financial management, preparation of monthly management accounts, preparation of year end financial statements and corporation tax computations, VAT returns and the running of the payroll, including CIS returns. My particular interest and specialism is working with entrepreneurial, owner-managed businesses. I have extensive experience with a wide variety of industry sectors, including VCT’s. I am also very happy to advise self employed individuals and we can assist with preparing your personal tax returns.
