ABOUT EMMA SHIBATA
I am a passionate and dedicated nurse and patient advocate. I graduated in May of 2021 from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Certificate in Health Communication. I possesses an active CA RN License and PHN Certification My passion lies in community-based care and population health. I am a devoted advocate for preventative care and I aim to provide comprehensive health education and holistic care to all my patients. I currently work as a School Nurse for the Loomis Union Elementary School District where I provide care to approximately 1100 children ranking in age from 5-14 years old. Additionally, I am a COVID Campus Coalition Ambassador. In collaboration with Cornell University I create and post informative and evidence-based education regarding the COVID-19 vaccine in order to combat misinformation in the college-age demographic.
