I was involved in MAN v FAT from its inception and helped to build the organisation from an online magazine into a published book, a website and international football leagues and weight loss intervention spanning 170 different locations. I was able to use my HR experience to support the recruitment, people management, policy development and growth strategy of the business. This involved creating and maintaining partnerships with global organisations like the Football Association, Sport England and the government. I continue to provide support to the organisation at a director level and during this time we have won a number of awards including the UK Active Awards.
