I am energized by creating. The joy I get from creating is independent of what is being created - it can be coding a random haiku generator website, using Adobe Illustrator to design a graphic to pair with my latest Spotify playlist, or even making a comprehensive list of all my favorite Twin Cities places to share with family and friends.I made the acquaintance of coding slightly by accident when I took Computer Science 101 in my sophomore year of college as a requirement for my double major at the time in Mathematics and Math Education. It was in that introductory course that I realized one of the many opportunities coding offers: the opportunity to continuously create, which for me, is synonymous with the opportunity to continuously do what I love. Fast-forward a mere semester, and I had pivoted my career path to joining the tech industry and becoming a coder. Since then, being in tech has only continued to captivate me with all the ever-evolving possibilities it provides for the now and the future, the interconnectivity between coding and other disciplines such as psychology and mathematics, and the prominent emphasis it places on innovation and exploration.Specialties:Frontend web development, technical writing, creativity, leadership, graphic design, User Experience (UX)
