About Emma Preuss
A graduate of the Rubenstein School of Environment at UVM with a B.S. in Environmental Studies and a minor in Health & Society, as well as a Place-Based Education Certification. Pursuing a career in environmental education, specifically with a marine focus. I’ve had the privilege to grow up on and around the water, and I feel it is my calling to connect as many people as I can with their local bodies of water and ecosystems! I was continuing my journey in the environmental education field by taking on an AmeriCorps year as a Marine STEM Educator. This allowed me to fine-tune my teaching skills and hone my ability to connect students with their natural environment, regardless of their history with it. In May, due to forces beyond my control, I decided to continue my time at my current organization under the role of a seasonal employee in order to continue to serve my students and the communities I have become a member of!
