ABOUT EMMA POST NE FAMILY LAW

I am an experienced family solicitor and hold Resolution Specialist Accreditation in complex financial remedies and private law children. I am a mediator (all issues) working towards accreditation. I am a member of Resolution and Chair of South West London Resolution. I undertake work in all aspects of family law navigating my clients through all aspects of divorce, separation children issues, financial settlements following the breakdown of a marriage or relationship. I deal with various levels of assets in the UK and abroad both advising and acting for individuals in proceedings through the Court and in out of Court negotiations and settlements.I have a particular interest in all aspects of Private Children Law including applications relating to arrangements for children after separation and specific issues including the international relocation (outside the UK) or internal relocation (within the UK) with the children. I have co-authored the Chambers and Partners Child Relocation Guide 2025 for the UK.I have dealt with a high number of complex financial and children cases many of which have had an international/jurisdictional aspect including within Europe, Austrlia, New Zealand and further afield including Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa.I have been commended for my ability to build relationships with my clients and other professionals.
