Develop and manage the digital services project managers, business analysts, development, and web teams.• Develop, manage, and maintain the Council’s project portfolio, including digital services projects, major council projects ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.• Establish and maintain project management standards, processes, and guidance.• Implement enhanced communication and status reporting council wide.• Own and continuously improve the development methods within the service, including moving and progressing Agile and other software development methodologies.• Work with other teams in the council and the group digital services manager to explore and exploit commercial and partnership opportunities that the digital services team create.• Deputise for the Group Digital Services manager where necessary and be an ambassador for the strategic role of digital across the Council and externally.• Act as a liaison between the council’s digital portfolio office (DPO) and digital services and work with the digital services manager to own and manage the DPO.
