View department →

I recently stepped into an incredibly rewarding role within NHS CAMHS, supporting family engagement and involvement across specialist mental health services for young people. Positioned at the intersection of lived experience, service development, and clinical collaboration, my work contributes to shaping family-inclusive approaches that prioritise dignity, understanding, and continuity of care.I work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support the design and delivery of trauma-informed, recovery-focused support pathways — with a particular focus on transitions, inpatient admissions, and discharge planning. I also contribute to best practice in family communication, training, and the co-production of resources to enhance service accessibility and outcomes.Drawing on both professional expertise and personal insight, I aim to strengthen the role of families within the mental health system and help foster more compassionate, inclusive support for those navigating the complexities of CAMHS.
