About Emma Montefusco
A recent graduate from Fordham University, Lincoln Center with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. I am a driven, passionate individual who is eager to pursue a career in clinical psychology. During my senior year, I conducted a senior thesis in psychology examining long-term visual memory recognition, while working part time as a behavior technician with A Friendly Face. In this position, I led one-on-one applied behavior analysis (ABA) sessions for children with autism, employing reinforcement training to shape behavioral skills. I am currently a Patient Outcome Manager at the Amen Clinics in New York City, where I conduct patient history intake interviews and aftercare coaching sessions for patients undergoing holistic psychiatric treatment. These experiences have fueled my passion for mental health care for individuals regardless of background. They have instilled crucial interpersonal communication skills as well as training for professional writing. I am excited to pursue graduate studies in clinical psychology in the near future.
