Member of the Executive Leadership Team, I lead the Strategy (including execution), Communications and Corporate Affairs Directorate for a £200m p.a. Public Corporation. With a direct report team of 5 experienced senior managers, I have overall accountability for strategic planning and performance, UKNNL’s international strategy, critical capability investment programmes and government relations- Executive lead for the 2024 HMG Strategic Review of UKNNL (published Dec 2024)- Responsible for the implementation of the Strategic Review recommendations and change programme (2, 5, 10yr horizons) with immediate transformation programme focus on alignment to HMG priorities, restructuring, delivery improvement, revised investment plan and business model. Plan and performance metrics signed off by HMG Sponsor Team and UKNNL Board- Accountable for 5-yr Strategic Plan with aligned Investment and Implementation Plan- Executive lead for Business Cases (5-case model) submitted into HMG Spending Reviews. Awarded CAPEX and OPEX funding for sovereign capability aligned with HMG missions- Responsible for delivery of strategic investment programme aligned with technical and strategic advisor role (civil) for nuclear fuels and materials- Co-lead UKNNL’s Business Plan with the Chief Finance Officer. 5 year Business Plan, updated on an annual basis and submitted for Ministerial sign off- Lead senior stakeholder engagement, including Government Relations. Revised stakeholder management approach and discipline implemented in response to the 2024 Strategic Review- Responsible for internal and external communications, media relations and public affairs to strengthen reputation, support transparency and engage stakeholders effectively. Successfully hosted the Prime Minister, Secretary of State and Ministers- Lead UKNNL’s international remit within the context of changing government foreign policy and sovereign capability support to country-country Ministerials
