ABOUT EMMA KELLIHER
Senior in the Honors Program at Eckerd College, seeking a BA in Political Science and Literature with a minor in Environmental Studies. I am a devoted leader within the Eckerd College Organization of Students (student government) which consists of over 70 student staff, 90+ student organizations and clubs, and a budget of self governed by Eckerd students. I am also a member of the Eastman Citizenship and Leadership academic program, in which my studies focus on the relationship between environmental literature and policy / political activism. I started and currently run the Environmental Literary Group, open to all Eckerd community members, where we explore the relationship between literature and political action through book discussions and creative writing workshops.I am passionate about environmental, climate, and energy policy, as well as how to bridge gaps across stakeholders to create effective policy solutions. I have experience with policy research, analysis, writing, project / team management, campaigning, and community building. Currently searching for job opportunities post-grad, anywhere on the East Coast.
