ABOUT EMMA JONES

I studied Greek and Roman studies at Birmingham University graduating in 1996 and began my working life at Wolverhampton and Dudley Breweries plc. I spent the first 13 years of my career in the brewing industry; as an Area Manager; National Account Manager and Licensing Reform Project Manager. Once the licensing project was completed I made a career changing decision to return to University to undertake a Graduate Diploma in Law. I completed this in 2009 and commenced work on a temporary contract with Elliott Bridgman Solicitors eventually progressing to Conveyancing Executive. I worked at Elliott Bridgman Solicitors until 2012 when I left to join Terry Jones Solicitors and completed my legal education; graduating from the Legal Practice course with distinction whilst working in offices across Shropshire. I joined Wace Morgan Solicitors in Shrewsbury in 2014 in the residential property team and in 2017 joined the Private Client team where I gained experience in estate planning, Will drafting and Lasting Powers of Attorney. I qualified as a Solicitor whilst at Wace Morgan, then joining Clarkes Solicitors in 2018.In August 2020 I set up Shropshire Legal Services Ltd from which I now consult. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as a consultant to date and am really enjoying the increased earnings and quality of life it offers me and my family.i pride myself on strong service levels, efficient communication and am able to support my clients during what can sometimes be a challenging time.
