As part of the Content senior team, I’m the strategic editorial content manager for all customer-facing marketing communications across channels (digital, social, ECRM, print) for both the TUI and First Choice brands.I work closely with various internal stakeholders and my marketing colleagues to coordinate and execute all editorial marketing collateral (brand and product) in collaboration with our 40-strong video, photography and design staff teams, develop our two brand’s two distinct tones of voice and lead a team of 15 copywriters & editors as expert implementers. I ensure we always deliver personalised, compelling content through brand storytelling to inform and inspire customers regularly so that they ultimately build lasting relationships with our brands and unique experiences, leading them to purchase or share their own content with us. Editorial direction and execution (responding to briefs like an external agency would as an agile team of in-house content marketers and copywriters) for various above-the-line and BAU campaigns.Achievements-Spearheading an editorially-driven agenda for the launch of Thomson.co.uk\'s Discover platform - shortlisted for a Travel Marketing Award 2017 (Best Use of Content Marketing category)-Discover has influenced £6m of bookings, achieving 40% increase in search and customer engagement-Transforming the existing team of copywriters into fully-integrated brand publishers and content marketers – by changing how we collaborate internally (with SEO, Social Media and PR teams) and engage externally (news-led, being responsive to Search and Trending topics, extending how we work with micro-influencers)-Aligning our marketing communications across all channels.
