As a senior QA engineer at Airtime, my main focus is overseeing the quality and stability of the implementation of open banking connections and handling of rewards for open banking purchases. My key responsibilities include- Implementing Pytest (Python based automation framework) for several of our PHP based microservices to validate API responses and database validation- AWS Lambda to monitor and test various lambdas, AWS Cloudwatch to validate error and success logging, AWS SQS to send messages to SQS queues to validate lambda behaviour- Maintaining the CI/CD pipeline (Gitlab) for majority of our backend services- Manual front-end mobile application testing (React Native) in iOS and Android using XCode and Android Studio, Browserstack and Simulator/Emulators- Manual back-end validation of PHP based microservices and Typescript based microservices- Manual validation of MongoDB, DynamoDB and SQL databases- Maintenance of our Postman collection to ensure all endpoints and tests are up to date and can be used by all members of the team- Introduction of end-to-end platform automation, which included automatic upload of data to S3 buckets, to validating the data in dynamoDB, to validating data in the SQL database- Support and mentor other members of the QA team- Manage weekly mobile app releases via the google play store and app store, and ensuring full regression testing takes place- Manual testing of smaller front-end web applications.
