ABOUT EMMA GUARNERO

I am an undergraduate student at WashU\'s Olin Business School studying Economics and Strategy, Latin American Studies, and Spanish.In my time at Washington University, I have had the opportunity to take on roles as the President of my residential college, executive member of Delta Sigma Pi, and an Olin Peer Ambassador. From these roles, I learned how to be a versatile worker and a strong leader. These positions allowed me to express my creativity which I plan to utilize in future careers, whether that be drafting a business solution or divergent thinking. I am a dedicated worker and I always commit my full effort to the projects I undertake. I volunteered at the Children\'s Inn at NIH for five years and in these years I organized a service event every month, ranging from a Holiday Gift Drive to a drive-by visit from the Fire Department.I am also passionate about Latin American issues and believe maintaining a global perspective is essential in any career. I highly value empathy, which translates to a multi-faceted approach when it comes to developing business solutions since I can view problems from many angles.
