About Emma Goldbas
I am a development professional, anthropologist, and educator. I have worked in the Middle East, Africa and the United States in youth and community development, conflict resolution, facilitation and education. I am skilled in program and grant management, strategic partnership building, research, curriculum and program design and execution, youth and staff training along with an ability to liaise with government, civil society and youth groups. I have strong interests in issues of youth and gender, conflict resolution and reconstruction, equity, culture and education. I am a writer and have worked with undergraduate, graduate and PhD students on writing assignments, editing and writing ethos. I launched a business to work with more students, businesses and organizations as a writer, editor, tutor, grant writer and cultural facilitator. I currently work with citizens re-entering after incarceration, food and housing insecure folks and new immigrants to nurture professional development, livelihood and holistic community growth.
