About Emma Digirolamo
My role as a cardiothoracic/general cardiology RN at MMC involves providing comprehensive care for a variety of cardiac patients. This includes those recovering from a variety of cardiothoracic procedures, managing cardiac devices, patient\'s with congestive heart failure and a variety of other general cardiac diagnoses. Along with managing the care of 4-5 patients daily, I also communicate effectively with providers utilizing communication tools such as SBAR, along with family members and other members of the healthcare team. Other daily tasks include safely administering medications, navigating our EHC system and charting effectively and timely, and performing in-depth patient assessments throughout my shifts. I am passionate about all things cardiology and am excited to learn and grow in this role.
