Senior Global Project Leader with >15 years’ experience in drug development in oncology across industry and clinical academic sectors. I have broad experience in drug development from discovery phase through to completion of early clinical trials, and in clinical and translational science and precision medicine. I am a skilled leader of multi-disciplinary pharmaceutical project teams responsible for the strategic, commercial and scientific delivery of new compounds in Oncology R&D at AstraZeneca. I was previously the clinical lead at one of Europe\'s largest cancer centres where I led the unit through significant change management to achieve top-rated performance and a patient-centred focus in first-in-human, first-in-class Phase 1 clinical trials. I maintain a strong external profile as a visiting honorary consultant in the NHS setting.
