ABOUT EMMA DAVIDS

With over 15 years of leadership experience in IT and IS departments, I bring strategic and stakeholder management skills to the table. As Head of Digital PMO at Leeds Trinity University, I have successfully built the PMO team and Centre of Excellence to be delivering the University’s Digital & Information Strategy. As Lead Business Analyst for Yorkshire Water I led my team to design technology that drove customer experience improvements across all their contact centres and digital channels. Qualified with ILM’s Level 5 Leadership and Management certification, I am deeply committed to empowering people to achieve their goals. Certified in the Scaled Agile Framework as a SAFe 5 Agilist, I have an advanced understanding of LEAN principles and agile methodologies, which I have applied effectively in leading transformational change. I have a proven ability to implement new processes that drive organisational improvements across multiple teams and departments. Founded on my BSc in Computer Science, my technical expertise provides a solid foundation for planning and delivering IT change, with a focus on quality, reliability and service. Passionate about delivering excellence, I excel at building strong relationships with real people, managing their expectations and driving impactful IT solutions. I’m enthusiastic and results-oriented, I have a strong track record of leading initiatives that deliver meaningful outcomes. Outside of work I have two main passions: teaching lifesaving skills to others and improving the environment. I volunteer with the Royal Life Saving Society UK at local and national level, giving me great opportunity to help others learn vital first aid skills. I also own a woodland and support our family business offering camping and outdoor activities from the woods. I love to find fun ways people can enjoy and learn about nature.
