Approachable, efficient and knowledgeable clerking is vital to this aim. My role involves the management of Counsel’s practices and day-to-day commitments, assisting solicitors and those with rights of direct access to instruct Counsel, helping them to identify the right advocate for their particular needs, advising on fees and negotiating accounts, alongside marketing and business development.
