I am a recent graduate of the University of Tennessee, holding a degree in Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology with a minor in Spanish. I am actively pursuing a career in medicine and bring a diverse range of healthcare and research experience. My background includes serving as a research intern in the hematology and hemostasis laboratories at Sysmex America, working as a Patient Care Technician at UT Medical Center\'s Brain and Spine Institute, and most recently as a Medical Assistant at Knoxville Pediatric Associates.I am currently beginning a new journey as a NALCAP Language Assistant in Benijófar, a small town in Spain. In this role, I will act as an English instructor and help foster cultural exchange.Following my gap year, I aim to pursue a career in medicine as a physician. I am passionate about providing healthcare for all people, and one of my long term goals is to advocate for effective communication to help bridge the cultural divide between patients and physicians.
