ABOUT EMMA CANNON
As someone passionate about health promotion and disease prevention through education, healthcare access, and quality services, I have sought to diversify my public health experience through Peace Corps service, participation in health care quality improvement efforts, and becoming a proponent of the nursing approach to develop the skill set for a career in public, community, and family health. I aim to advance my career in the areas of quality health care delivery and health systems improvement through both clinical settings and public health programming. In the future, I hope to dedicate my efforts to effective program design, implementation and evaluation, towards increased preventative health programming and access to equitable health services.
