ABOUT EMMA BUTTON

I am a highly organised, methodical and intuitive person.I have progressed clinically practicing at an advanced level in autonomous roles within the NHS. I am the Events Education Lead @ British Dermatological Nursing Group, planning in person event education and working with speakers to ensure up to date information and knowledge is delivered. I promote education across the dermatology nursing field. I have experience in managing nursing staff, take lead on logistical projects and service improvement, policy updates and take part in clinical audits.Clinically I have a passion for dermatology, maternal health within my speciality, skincare and aesthetics. Across previous roles and through the current roles and clinics I undertake, I am able to provide in-depth consultations, carry out advance health assessment, prescribing and providing holistic management and care. Currently I am part of Dermatology service carrying out consultations and prescribing systemic treatments for complex acne, inflammatory conditions, eczema, psoriasis and paediatric eczema. I work within the Nurse Led Biologic service treating those with severe and complex psoriasis or eczema with Biologics and JAK inhibitors.
