Stallingborough, GB

This new to the business role has allowed me the opportunity to both lead the business in defining its purpose ‘Removing the barriers to a greener future’ and develop the overarching sustainability strategy which takes the business from identifying and mitigating impacts, managing risk and compliance to adding positive value.I am responsible for delivering a programme of projects including ISO 14001 certification, developing and delivering the decarbonisation plan which has resulted in a year on year reduction in emissions, embedding circularity in product life cycle, community engagement and investment projects and embedding responsible business practices including anti-bribery and corruption, competition law, modern slavery and human rights and the code of ethics.Alongside delivery of these initiatives I have also been responsible for the development of relevant KPIs and metrics to measure and track progress across all elements of the sustainability strategy, reporting performance internally to ensure continual improvement and externally to meet regulatory and client requirements (EcoVadis, SECR, ESOS), and delivering the ongoing training and communication required to manage risk and maintain compliance with legislation, internal management systems and the business core values.
