As the first standalone Business Continuity Manager for the company, I lead and developed the operational resilience BCP strategy for a growing FMCG company. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Leadership Team (SCLT), I’m accountable for ensuring our operations are protected against disruption, and recovery plans are robust, tested, and embedded across the business.I own the Supply Chain Business Continuity System (BCMS) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework — from strategy design to implementation and performance monitoring. My work spans setting up risk assessments, business impact analysis (BIA), continuity planning, and crisis response across manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, IT, and people functions.Key responsibilities include- Driving and designing the enterprise BC strategy, governance, and readiness across European operations- Designing crisis and incident response planning, simulation, and training- Aligning plans with regulatory and trade requirements- Identifying operational vulnerabilities and informing CAPEX/resilience investment- Ensuring compliance with internal standards and external frameworks (e.g. Business Continuity Institute, Good Practice Guidelines, ERM process, ISO 22301)- Collaborating cross-functionally to embed continuity into core business processes and align plans with IT Disaster Recovery- Delivering Board-level reporting, KPIs, and strategic insights to leadership and our owners, Coca-Cola.I also act as a key liaison between sites, supply partners, and senior stakeholders to drive consistency, operational excellence, and long-term resilience across the chain.
